THE BOOK AMONG THE BOOKS!!!

In reality, heaven is not meant for those whose names are in the books and not in the book, but for those whose names are written in the book.

You may want to know what this book among these books is. Don’t worry, follow this write-up painstakingly, for I will journey you to it. Firstly, know that in our generation many are driven by activities, while others are driven by outward Christianity. Many people feel going to Church is doing God a big favour, and others feel giving to the poor and paying their tithes guarantees them eternal life. But the truth is that Christianity is far beyond the present practices of men. There is need to note that our life is everything and that life only begins when we have the son of God in us. Not only is our life everything, but that our life is influence, either we influence negatively or we influence positively. The realization of this ‘book’ and these ‘books’ as we journey on to eternity helps us to know our present position in Christ and our place in eternity.

Is it possible for an individual to enroll in either Secondary School or Tertiary Institution, but yet not a student of that particular School? This question will be the driving force to the matter ‘the book among the books’. By the look of things in our Schools of today, It is very much possible for a student to have records and files bearing his name in the Department, Faculty, Academic Office, Administrative Office, Bursary Department, Form-Teachers etc, but yet not a bona-fide student of that Tertiary Institution/Secondary School. It is possible to be known by your class mates, course mates, teachers and lecturers but yet, in the end very possible not to receive the certificate that shows you fully attended the institution or the school. This scenario above is to drive the focus of this article, which simply emphasizes that, it is possible to work for God yet you are not known in heavenly record. It is possible to be fully engaged in the activities of the Church throughout the week and yet heaven have no record of your name in its book. It is possible to be in leadership for decades and God is not aware of you at all. It just points out that life is beyond what we think it is. Life is but far more than we can imagine. In short, life is beyond activities as seen today in our world.

The truth is that, there are books and there is a book. The fascinating thing is that one’s name can be in the books and in the book. This matter of the book among the books matters beyond the four walls of this earth. Everyone both the living and the death, the small and the great, the young and the old, the low and the high, the poor and the rich, the educated and the uneducated etc AT THAT TIME (The Last Day) will be judged from the BOOKS according to their works. This books spell out what we had done here on earth, how we lived our lives, how we helped many people gain salvation, how we supported God’s work here on earth, how we once served God, how we served God with doubts, how we visited those who were sick with fruits, how we helped the poor and the widows, how we attended Church regularly, among several other things. “And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the BOOKS were opened: and another BOOK was opened, which is the BOOK OF LIFE; and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the BOOKS, according to their WORKS” (Revelation 20:12). It is a clear-cut-confirmation that every one of us has a specific work to do here on earth. This work is the Fathers business. The Fathers business is the business of soul winning. So, are we ready to start this business in-order to make profit? If we do not put God first in this business, pride will prevail in our lives. But what are these books that will be opened when we stand before God? Quickly note that Mordecai was rewarded by king Ahasuerus because of the good things he had done which was recorded in the book of Chronicles. It is through these books that sinner’s conscience which was formally secret will be opened. These books includes; the book of God’s omniscience, the book of his remembrance, the book of the creatures, the book of providence, the book of the scriptures, the book of nature, and the book of consciences among other books. This book is the final separation of sinners from God. And it is by your works that you can either be justified or condemned. If then, please ask yourself this question, what WORKS of the Father am I called to do? a question that you should uncover as you continue.  

What is this book that is singled out from these books? and, whose names are written in this book?

On the last day, it will be surprises upon surprises. This is because many who thought their names are in the book will only find out that their names are just in the books. This book is what guarantees our eternal life. This book is a pre-requisite for heaven. It is a book that certifies and confirms our membership to heavenly kingdom. This book is the carefully written names of faithful servants of God. Understand that, in as much we will be judged by the books that records our works, THE BOOK is the final book which records the names of God’s true sons and daughters who influence their generation positively, those who do not only trust but those who believed God completely, those who were saved to serve and not those who were saved to be served, those who walked with eternity (heaven) in view, those who put God first in all that they do, hence, seeking to please Him all their lifetime, those who are Gods provisions to their generation, those who didn’t compromised their faith when adversity and temptations confronted them, those who were dead to sin/flesh, those who layed aside their weights and ran with determination the race set before them, those who were driven by the doctrines of God and not by the doctrines of men, those who knew that they were born with a purpose and for a purpose and did all they could to fulfill God’s purpose for their lives. This book am talking about is the ‘LAMB BOOK OF LIFE’. It is a special book for believers in which their names are written, not for their work, but for the work of Christ for and in them. Is your name in this book?

No matter how mighty, strongly, powerfully, and highly respected you are in the society/environment, no matter how prayerful you are in the Church, no matter how you touch the sick and they get healed, no matter how you speak and people get salvation, no matter how long you have been an Elder, Pastor, Reverend, Bishop, General Overseer among several other titles, no matter how you sing and people bath their eyelids, no matter how punctual you are in Church, no matter how engage you are with Gods activities, am sorry to assert that if your name is not written in The Book Among The Books, your destination is eternal death. The bible says in Rev. 3:15 that, “And WHOSOEVER was not found written in the BOOK OF LIFE was cast into the lake of fire”. Whoever can be anyone, the Pastor, Prophet, General Overseer, Reverend, Bishop, Rich, Poor, Student, Worker, President, Senator, Soldier, People in Leadership Position, Deacon, Deaconess, Young Children, among several others.  No matter how powerful you are ‘TODAY’, it is ONLY the book of life open ‘TOMORROW’ that can judge where your eternal destination would be. This destination could be Eternal Life (Heaven) or Eternal Death (Hell). Where will you spend eternity?

What are we expected to do so that our names will be written in this book of life? The reality about this question is that, God has been searching for us since before now, but we did not allow Him to find us, rather, we were busy searching for Him wrongly. The Master is at the door knocking, He expects us to open our hearts so that He can come in and stay forever. The Master’s name is Jesus. “Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if ANY MAN hear my voice and open of the door, I will come into him, and sup with him, and he with me” (Rev. 3:20). It just simply takes us to accept and receive Jesus as our Lord and personal savior before our names will be included in the book of life. Accept the Son called Jesus today from where the source of true life begins. We must make a choice to be born again while the dispensation of grace is still available. This is because; grace is inaccessible when judgment day comes. Today is the day of salvation, as procrastination the say is a thief. Hence, procrastinating receiving salvation today will steal you away from making eternal life. Remember, if your name is written in the books but not in the book, it simply suggests that Christ is missing in your life. You can find your life back by singing dedicatedly and prayerfully this normally but powerfully Sunday School Song:  

                                               Into my heart, into my heart,

          Come into my heart, Lord Jesus,

         Come in today, come in to stay 

         Come into my heart, Lord Jesus, Amen.

Don’t forget what Jesus said, “I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown” (Rev. 3:11) for it is key to the matter of the book among the books.
